Dream Maker is a little side business I dreamed up to satisfy my creative side and desire for social connection. Though it, I offer crafting workshops and craft kits that I design and make.

My main challenge with this website is the need for a good calendar to showcase and allow for event registration, while also desiring a blog and product sales. Though I have built sites with WooCommerce, I personally prefer Shopify and wanted to use it for the e-commerce parts. But Shopify's blogging functionality is inferior to WordPress and the calendars for WordPress are so much better.

To solve for this, I'm currently using both platforms so that I can use the best features of each. I am in the process of making this more seamless - while the functionality works well, having matching themes on both ends would be better for user experience.
