Amy Sluss's passion is helping young girls navigate their way through puberty with confidence and grace. She leads mother-daughter workshops and was ready to re-invent her business to also include online courses. Amy's old Joomla website was no longer serving her business goals.

She worked with a graphic designer to realize the look of her main website, then contacted us to develop it. We migrated all her Joomla content to WordPress and created a custom theme from the design. We selected WooCommerce as the platform for online ticket sales (combined with Events Calendar and WooCommerce Tickets) as it offered the most flexibility for her other planned offerings. The site initially integrated with Constant Contact, but was later changed to AWeber.

We also helped Amy plan and implement a membership site (also WordPress) for delivery of online courses, and possible free community memberships for discussion forums. After discussing Amy's vision in depth, we researched options and selected LearnDash for online courses combined with BBPress for discussion forums, and a membership plugin to grant access to clients as needed. We used an off-the-shelf theme specifically designed for LearnDash, then customized it to match her brand.

As of March 2016, the membership site is in pre-launch.
